About Fairfields Alliance
Fairfields School was a designated National Teaching School from 2012 up to 2021 when the national programme ended and transitioned to the government’s new Teaching School Hub model. Fairfields remains committed to providing an outreach service to schools. We will be rebranding our service ready for launch in September 2022, in the meantime we will be operating under the alias of Fairfields Alliance.
Our alliance works with primary, secondary and special schools across Northamptonshire and beyond. We are committed to working in partnership to support learning and inclusion and to provide the best outcomes for pupils.
We provide high quality training and support to schools and units. We encourage schools to share best practice, learn from each other and become contributors to the alliance. Schools can benefit from professional development for staff and effective support to improve learning outcomes. We strive to fully support schools to become outstanding.
Our services include the following three elements:
(1) Initial Teacher Training
We provide training for those wishing to become teachers through our School Direct programme which has been thoughtfully desgined to expose trainees to school settings and develop their abilities through learning on the job.
(2) Continued Professional Development
We offer an extensive CPD programme that aims to improve teaching practice and provision in schools.
Our highly experienced practioners including Specialist Leaders in Education and Leading SENCos are on hand to assist improvements in your school and outcomes for pupils.
We are looking forward to rebranding and offering schools an exceptional support service focussing on our expertise in SEND.
