Charlie has been a teaching for over 15 years and has a range of skills from senior leadership to ITT coordination. She is a designated SLE for ITT and NQTs having trained new teachers for several years and is an experienced secondary drama specialist, enabling her to have a broad view of all schools in the area.
As the current Lead of the Fairfields TSA, she finds pleasure in seeing excellent practice across the county and sharing that practice beyond individual schools. She has supported schools with ledership training, school improvement and coaching and also delivers Governor training across the county.
Charlie believes that education plays a key role in a young person’s life and a supportive school can make such a difference to their life chances.

Karen has been the Headteacher at Fairfields School for 5 years and working in education for nearly 30 years. She has a wealth of experience within the SEN sector having worked within a range of settings including SEMH. Karen is passionate about children's learning, believing all children can achieve. She loves curriculum design and the impact this has on teaching and learning. She is also driven to support schools. By providing the challenge and support she enables them to improve their practice.

Lesley is the Deputy Head for Fairfields School and an SLE for the Teaching School.
Lesley has been in education for 15 years, spending 12 of those at Fairfields. During that time she has had a range of roles but has always had the passion to see children succeed in their learning. She currently leads on Teaching, Learning and Assessment including curriculum design. Lesley delivers sessions on the School Direct programme, runs CPDL sessions and provides school to school support for pupils with SEND.
Nicky is the Early Years Phase Leader and English Co-ordinator at Fairfields School.
Nicky Wood has a real love for learning with a wealth of experience gained over 25 years in mainstream and SEN education. Her creativity and dynamic personality enables her to support and shape professional practice. She is currently supporting our School Direct students and their mentors through this challenging year.
